Quick intro
I met Jacob through the http://blacksoldierflyfarming.com forum and messaged him as I finally found someone in my area. He replied in January but I didn’t see the message until June. Anyway I’m very grateful to have found a fellow reSourcer into BSF. We have same values when it comes to waste and he has way more experience in the field as you’ll see in the videos. I had about an hour of footage to cut down so the first part goes into Jacob’s set up and the second one dives more into inspecting, feeding, seeing some egg laying and finding tons of egg clusters. I have done my best to keep it BSF related as we talked about all sorts like wormfarming, biochar, permaculture and technologies.
If you have any questions please leave them in the comments section of this blog or send me a direct message through the contact link and I shall get you the answers from the expert himself. More videos to come!

19th July 2018 Update:
I went to visit Jacob again and this time he showed me 2 new vertifarm like enclosures (awaiting links on those). The most of the tubs were thriving with larvae. Jacob later showed me how he posts his orders and was happy to see him stitching the bags of larvae on the sewing machine. He did come across an issue of the bags being overweight but managed to reduce it by cutting off excess cloth.
