Dial M for Merde by Stephen Clarke
Forth part of the ‘Merde’ series. This time Paul West ends up with an eco-friendly girlfriend that wants to kill the French president and he’s catering for a wedding where the president will be present. Looks like Paul West got his spine and his testicles back… thought he was still playing his girls puppet he wasn’t being a lil biatch about it.
Much better than the previous one but something was missing and then I remembered what Viv said… it’s too fictional. With the other ones it sounds believable enough to think it was real. Otherwise the format and jokes and especially the Anglo-Parisian pun was all present. Oh and some new extra cookie characters from French police and under cover agents to the kinks of posh families and their world. No extra ordinary jokes but I was smiling throughout the book. Big Viv for keeping me up with the Merde.
