Politics Boundary
– There are so many definitions of politics and The Prince is a good recommendation to deal with politics e.g. if you have dirty work to do, you hire a henchman to do the work so if anything goes off you are not to blame. (Paras note: Again see my in-depth summary on it here – Deep Inner Game – Boundaries, Politics, Ethics, Forgiveness & Individuation – Dr. Paul Dobransky

Introduction to Richard aka Billy
Full post is here but I’ll summarise it further below – Deep Inner Game DVD Set – David DeAngelo and Richard aka Billy
– You can change your whole physiology with the power of your mind.
– You are not who you think you are, you are not who others thing you are. You are who you make yourself so start architecting yourself.
– Start using affirmations to change what you want and who you want to be.
– Talks about the importance of Milton H. Erickson and his hypnosis/NLP techniques.
– Be aware of the mind virus of comparing yourself to others. Focus on your path and where you want to go. (Paras note: I only look at yester-me).
– Your balance and boundaries are more important and be in a state where you’re happy to walk away no matter the ‘perceived’ loss. Example: Don’t stick around a hot person if they’re toying with you.
– Never let them see you sweat.
– Don’t put your self-esteem in other peoples hands. More on Self-Esteem here.
– Do not do things for others validation.
– You decide what you are about. Imagine how much happier you will be at the end of your days.
– Fail more, fail faster. Your whole life is your dojo.
– When you get angry, you can control your emotions before you get reinforcement of external events that control your emotions. Acceptance vs. resistance e.g. traffic. Make a decision to deal with it or accept. Imagine getting upset for the same thing every day and calculate the time added up.
– Mind being like a garden metaphor: (I love this bit): Everyday you have to pull weeds. Maybe you go through a time where you’re pulling weeds everyday. Then you go through a time where you’re hoeing ;oP. And after you’re done hoeing, it’s time to plant your seed. (Pull weeds, not pull YOUR weed ;op).
– There is a guy who dis-identifies himself from what he was when he grows so changes from Ken 1 to Ken 2, etc.
– Create a panic room in your mind where nobody can hurt you and you have your resources for yourself.
– Don’t beat yourself up and let yourself be human. Forgive yourself and move on.
