This initially started as a pilot program which has grown from strength to strength. Great friendships and memories have been made.
Duncraig Edible Garden (DEG) Extras:
– There is a preserve stand where Kath makes preserves, jams, pickles and more, which has produce sourced from the garden itself.
– On DEG days there is a sharing table where people bring surplus food, plants and anything else for anyone to take.
– DEG days are usually on alternate Saturdays. More information can be found through their Facebook page or website.
– DEG holds numerous workshops and visioning days on their DEG days. They’ve held workshops like worming farming, keeping chickens, seed saving, etc.
– If you can make it please do visit, there is something for everyone!
