The Little Book of How to Survive THE BIG 30 and Beyond by Richard Hession (and selected quotes)

Found this in my bros room… an itsy bitsy book with one liners of quips and quotes that apparently cover every dilemma and shlack. Started out with funny stuff and gradually moved to philosophical stuff. Took about 2 minutes to go through so not much to review… so here are some selected quotes instead.

Quotes:
– We are the people our mothers’ warned us against (John Lennon).

– Thirty is when everything new you feel is likely to be a symptom.

– The nice thing about being happy at 30 is that you never think you will be unhappy again.

– It’s better to be hated for whom you are, than loved for whom you are not.

– Better to be at the bottom of a ladder you want to climb than halfway up the one you don’t (The Office).

– Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

– Persuading me I am stupid is not a good way to win the argument.

– Some are wise and some are othewise.

– If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.
