Not truly the Buddha’s story but somewhere close as Siddhartha apparently meets with the enlightened Gotama.
Anyway the story is still great and has so many priceless gems of knowledge and wisdom and all that. The translations may not be great but I personally think it gives the book more of an authentic feel.
Siddhartha feels there’s more to being a monk, finds a courtesan to teach him the art of love and a merchant to teach him the art of business. Learns gambling and all kinds of habits.
Once again he moves on… learns something else from the ferryman and the river. Beautiful story.
Big up Ali Hassanali for the recommendation.
