Rainy days always take me to a happy place. Since I was a kid, it’s always been happy times. Really quick. Childhood in Ngara – Two schools next to our house. One had chickens and I’d chase the chicks till hen chased me back. Big puddle at our gate where I used to chill and play with these boats. Oh and other school had a rabbit I’d sneak through the fence and go feed. Not to mention shooting pigeons and jumping over neighbourhood roofs with Firoz, Farook, Ahmed and Taira. Were so young Taira and I used to exchange love-bites not knowing what they were. Hehehe easy Firoz. Primary times – playing round the house and shake and this thing I’d do with my shoe… like kick it off at anyone I wanted to hurt. Lunch times with Vivek and Clint or Nayans place. High School times – Squash with Prasheel, Aneesh and Kushal. Complex with Tejesh. Taneja and Bala tuitions. Damn man! Roaming around Westlands purposely jumping on puddles to splash at mates. Boarding jokes. Getting drunk. College times – Now that was all about love and drama man. Post-college – Driving past the flood just so I didn’t stop my 3 years Carnivore streak. Stage and bundus!
