Ok, although there’s a ton to learn in The Prince it gets so detailed and scientific. And he’s mostly talking about Principalities and the right ways of handling them. Just because it’s translated, does not mean it’s easier to understand. I think I got the verbatim translation. But like I said great tips on getting, maintaining and keeping the state safe. Love the bit he goes on about how to ‘seem’ religious even if you are not. He does enforce war and brutality. Definitely not something to speed-read… you have to understand the game. Before the book even started there were pages about Niccolo’s history and how sharp he was when it came to observing people, their arts of war… basically nothing missed his eye, observation and understanding. Big up Nayan for the recommendation like a decade back.
